Industrial dicyclopentadiene is produced from cracked C5 by reaction and distillation. Dicyclopentadiene is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of 170 C and a relative density of 0.979 g/cm3. It is insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol, ether and carbon tetrachloride. This product exists in liquid form at room temperature and pressure. It has the characteristics of low flash point and high volatility. It is a class A flammable and explosive substance.

Product use

Mainly used in the production of modified unsaturated polyester resin, Polydicyclopentadiene resin, ferrocene, in addition to pesticides and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, as well as fine chemical raw materials and chemical raw materials, but also used in the production of resin perfume.
