Product Overview

Ethylene tar is the product of condensation of ethylene cracking raw materials and products at high temperature during steam cracking. The composition of ethylene tar is extremely complex. The higher content of indene, methylindene and its homologues, naphthalene, methylnaphthalene, ethylnaphthalene, dimethylnaphthalene, anthracene, ethylene and phenanthrene are important raw materials for organic chemical synthesis. The product exists as a liquid at room temperature and pressure, with high viscosity and volatility.

Product use

This product is mainly used to produce industrial carbon black, purify industrial naphthalene and as raw material for tar resin production.
