    I. Technology Introduction

     Haweier hard-faced wear-resistant steel plate is kind of steel plate, which adopted the international leading metal arc welding production technology, welded a certain thickness wear resisting alloy layer on the surface of common low carbon steel or low carbon low alloy steel . The product wear-resisting layer has high hardness, with good wear-resistant properties. The basic plate is adopted good rolled plate with good toughness and plasticity. The alloy wear-resisting layer and the basic plate is metallurgical combination, which is strongly combined and cannot fall off.Under special technique, the surface of plate formed a directional grown eutectic structure, which make the wear resistance of hard-faced wear resistant steel plate HP100, HP200 and HP300 reached 14.6 times more than 16Mn steel plate.( Abrasive wear test as per ASTM G65)

     HP100 hard-faced wear-resistant steel plate is suitable for the low stress, little impact abrasive wear or fine particles, minimal energy and small incident Angle erosion wear condition.

     Hard-facing layer main chemical composition of metal (Wt%)

 Hard-facing layer hardness: 60-65HRC

     Wear resistant temperature: <500°C

* HP200   (Resistance to medium impact abrasive wear)

    HP200 hard-faced wear-resistant steel plate is suitable for the medium impact abrasive wear or rolling compaction wear condition under high pressure.

    Hard-facing layer main chemical composition of metal (Wt%)

Hard-facing layer hardness: 60-68HRC

     Wear resistant temperature: <800°C

*HP400   (Resistance to strong impact abrasive wear)

     HP400 hard-faced wear-resistant steel plate is suitable for the working condition of high stress and strong impact abrasive wear.

    Hard-facing layer main chemical composition of metal (Wt%)

  Hard-facing layer normal hardness: 20-25HRC

     After the cold work and hardening hardness:50-55HRC

     Wear resistant temperature: <500°C

 III Performance Chracteristics

Remark: 

1. This minimum curling radius is subject to the wear-resisting layer turning inward ,  if wear-resisting layer turning outwards, the minimum curling radius shall be multiply  by 2.

 2. We can also supply the special specification and size according to customer requirement.

Q1: Why are there so many cracks?

A1. Due to the cooling rates of dissimilar metals. Our hard facing plate for coal chute liner is manufactured bywelding which results in high temperatures. During the cooling, the plate goes through a stress relieving which is a natural process and does not effect the performance of the plate. The stress relief cracks should be between 3/4" - 2" apart. The cracks can be touched up by our chrome carbide welding rod.

Q2: What is the best method of attachment?
