The top leaders of China and the Czech Republic witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between OConnect and Czech Trade and Tourism Alliance. As the only cross-border electricity company in the delegation, OConnect and the Czech partner will establish the “Two Countries, Double Pavilion” in Chongqing and Prague so as to open up the "Online Silkroad" of trade contacts, technological exchanges and cultural exchanges.

Czech Republic, which is an important node of "the Belt and Road Strategy" to promote the Central and Eastern Europe, is also our second largest trading partner in the Central and Eastern Europe. According to the statistics, bilateral trade volumes of China and the Czech Republic reached nearly $ 11 billion in 2105. The two sides mainly import and export electromechanical products. Among which, Czech exports relative precision optical, watches and medical equipment; China exports boiler, auto parts and other requirements of high capacity products.

According to the agreement, the Oconnect will set up "China Boutique Pavilion" in Prague, Czech and "Czech Boutique Pavilion" in Chongqing, China. This platform of “Two Countries, Double Pavilion” will enhance the trade efficiency and success rate of the two countries' business, which also can make their culture and products appear in each other's country.

As for Chongqing, the core city of southwest manufacturing industrial belt, the "marriage" of the two countries also brought a new fulcrum for local cross-border electricity supplier and manufacturing to reduce the capacity and optimize the structure.

In the process of Chinese manufacturing heading west, Chongqing is called "the tail of the middle, the head of the West". The revitalization of Chongqing manufacturing is related to the development of the Midwest and even the country's manufacturing industry.
